Child Psychology (Introduction)

This introductory course is designed for anyone interested in learning about child psychology and how children grow, learn and develop. It provides a friendly introduction to some of the ideas psychologists use to understand children's behaviour and development.

Over four sessions, You will explore children's emotional, social and cognitive development, the importance of early relationships, how children learn and develop new skills, and some of the factors that can influence behaviour. Through discussion and practical activities, You will begin to understand how psychology can help us make sense of children's experiences and development.

This course is suitable for beginners and provides an opportunity to develop confidence while exploring a new subject. You must be able to attend every session in order to successfully complete this course.
