Residential Study at Northern College
Without a doubt the best way to get the most out of your time with us is to stay residentially. This means staying on our campus in purpose-built student accommodation.
Not only will this give you the time and space you need, but it also lets you really get to know your classmates and the College. Students who stay with us will get home cooked meals included, be able to use our Student Hub and explore the National Trust grounds.
Staying residentially for most people is free however all applicants must undergo an assessment prior to a residential place being offered. The purpose of the assessment is to establish the reason for needing to stay residentially. A member of Student Support Services will be in contact to discuss this with you.

If you are applying for a course within 5 working days of the start date, we are unable to consider your residential application. You can choose to apply for the same course at a later date, providing more time for your residential application to be processed.
Places for residential will be allocated on a first come first served basis, subject to meeting the residential assessment.
