Course description
This course is designed to develop individuals’ knowledge and awareness of dementia.
The course will focus on the misconceptions and stereotypes about dementia, encouraging You to challenge your own perceptions in relation to dementia.
The course provides a moderate introduction to what dementia is and common types of dementia. You may be aiming to work in services which care for individuals living with dementia or may be caring for a family member. The course is a good starting point to develop understanding about a complex condition.
You must be able to attend every session in order to successfully complete this qualification.
